Whether you're on or off campus, eating healthy can cost more money than expected. Duquesne's Dining Services Web administed and nutriotionist Sherie Sheran offers some ways to save some extra cash.

Ways to eat healthier but spend your FLEX wiser • Be cautious of overloading on high caffeine and sugar beverages, look for 100 calorie snack packs (The Off Ramp), purchase fruit for your desserts or low-fat frozen yogurt instead of ice cream. • Visit The Hogan Dining Center for the all-you-care-to-eat offerings: the salad bar, granary and the new vegetarian station.

Q. I'm super busy, and don't have time to eat. Is snacking throughout the day OK to compensate for a meal? A. Snacking throughout the day is OK as long as you are selecting healthy foods and getting enough calories and vitamins. But it's better to allow time to sit down for a while and have a meal.

1. Fun - Aim & Ignite While the band name pretty much says it all, this album is pure "fun" from front to back. Ex-members of The Format, Anathallo and Steel Train formed the band and took a cinematic approach to pop music (A few tracks verge on being Beach Boys knockoffs).

Former DU students debut album

Sitting across from Adam Haritan, heavy metal drummer is not what first comes to mind. Haritan, a strict vegan, animal lover, fan of Buddy Holly and former Duquesne student, performs in a band along with singer/guitarist Dan Wetmore (also a vegan), bassist Ben Mottsman and guitarist Jeff Potts.
